SUMMARY:4th of July Parade
DESCRIPTION:With an estimated 30\,000+ people lining the streets\, and a live televised\n\nbroadcast reaching around the world\, the 100 year tradition of the\n\nBelton 4th of July Celebration will include a one mile parade route\n\nrunning south on Main Street (FM317) from the University of Mary Hardin-\n\nBaylor to the Bell County Courthouse\, then east on Central Avenue to the\n\nBelton Police Memorial.\n\nFollowing the parade\, much of the crowd moves to the adjacent Yettie\n\nPolk Park for the Festival on Nolan Creek with food and craft vendors\,\n\ngames\, petting zoo\, celebrity meet and greet\, static displays of military\n\nand first responder equipment\, and live entertainment at the centrally\n\nlocated gazebo. Carnival rides and attractions fill a nearby park located\n\nwithin a short walking distance on the Belton Hike and Bike Trail.\n\nThe three-night PRCA Rodeo is held July 4-6 at the Bell County Expo\, an\n\nindoor\, air conditioned facility with a capacity for 5\,900 rodeo\n\nattendees. Cowboys from around the country descend on the only PRCA\n\nRodeo in Texas during this holiday weekend making it a must see event.\n\nMusic is an important part of our celebration with the Backyard Party at\n\nSchoepf's Concert and Fireworks show an annual favorite. This year\n\nwe are adding a Downtown Street Party and Concert on the Saturday\n\nkicking off our weeklong celebration. Enhancing our crowd size\, both\n\nevents are open to the public as non-ticketed free events. Reserved VIP\n\nareas are available for sponsors.\n\nThe Belton 4th of July Celebration is promoted extensively throughout\n\nCentral Texas with a professional marketing campaign supported by\n\nlocal and regional media sponsors and marketing partners. Benefits to\n\nsponsors include access to high volume pedestrian traffic\, promotion\n\nthrough the marketing campaign\, support of our local military families\,\n\nthe opportunity to be part of a "feel good" community event\, and the\n\nchance to engage with a multicultural\, family-friendly audience at the\n\nlargest annual event in our Central Texas area.\n\nThe 2019 Advertising Plan includes regional radio spots on English and\n\nSpanish language television and radio stations\, Lamar Outdoor Digital\n\nBillboards\, print and online ads including Texas Monthly and Texas\n\nHighways\, program inserts\, and extensive social media promotion. Press\n\nreleases and public relations efforts will generate pre-event coverage\n\nthroughout the region.
