Girls will also be given a quilting starter kit to take home. Canned goods will be on view\, and participants will get to meet Bell County's own Kit Kittredge.\n\n\n\nAuthor Harriet Brown created Kit Kittredge\, a young girl growing up in 1930s America\, and witnesses many of the seminal events of that decade\, including the Great Depression and the Dust Bowl. Similarly\, Dorothea Lange\, noted American photographer\, traveled around the country photographing victims of these tumultuous events.\n\n\n\nThe event will be held on Saturday\, March 15\, from 10:00 a.m. until noon\, and again from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. The event is $10.00 per child and includes refreshments and craft activities.
