DESCRIPTION:This year\, The United Way of Central Texas will be conducting a Christmas Tree Fundraiser on Thursday\, December 1\, 2011. The event is titled 'Chrome & Carols Festival of Trees\,' and it will be held at Horny Toad Harley-Davidson in Temple. One-hundred percent of the money raised at our Christmas tree fundraiser will go directly to helping local Central Texans in need through our agencies.\n\n\n\nThe night of the event there will be 10 Christmas trees\, including decorations and presents\, raffled off to be taken home immediately. In other words\, it is a turn-key Christmas for those lucky winners. Each tree will be underwritten by local companies and will have a different Christmas Carol theme\, which will reflect the business sponsoring it. Tickets will be sold to guests the night of the event and then they will be able to place their tickets in the raffle boxes of the trees. Hors d'oeuvres will be served by the Hilton Garden Inn\, along side a cash bar. Holiday entertainment will also be provided by the Funk Factory. These agencies provide a safety net for our community and touched over $60\,000 last year.
