DESCRIPTION:Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Texas announced today that it is offering training for volunteers serving at Good News Clubs across Bell County.  The instructional session is scheduled on Saturday\, January 10\, 2015\, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  Training will be hosted at New Beginnings Church located at 859 Copperhead Circle in Harker Heights.  The free session is open to existing volunteers as well as those newly interested in serving in the ministry.  Materials\, coffee and snacks will be provided.  \n\n \n\nGood News Club is an after-school program for elementary school students. Child Evangelism Fellowship of Central Texas is a nonprofit ministry that works with churches to provide Good News Clubs at 28 schools in the region.  Good News Clubs are held in the fall and in the spring in 6-8 weeks sessions\, and are scheduled once a week for approximately an hour after school.    Clubs consist of Bible lessons\, mission stories\, scripture memory\, songs\, games\, snacks and prayer time. \n\n \n\nNew volunteers are greatly needed.  Interested individuals will work on teams for schools in Temple\, Belton\, Killeen\, Salado and surrounding areas.  Volunteers interact with students\, teach Bible lessons\, share mission stories\, encourage scripture memory\, enjoy music and play games.
