Join accomplished instructors\, Rudy & Karen Gonzales for an hour class. \n\nRudy and Karen own and operate In the Mood Ballroom in Temple. Rudy has been teaching dance in Austin since 1992 and in Copperas Cove and Temple since 1996 and has taught dancing for over 37 years. He began his career in dance at the age of 14 and worked with the Fred Astaire Franchises and various Independent Studios through the years. Rudy's accomplishments include National Ballroom Dance Champion in American Style\, International Style and Theatre Arts. Rudy has been certified in all levels of Ballroom Dance\, Bronze\, Silver\, Gold and Supreme Gold and in three different Syllabus Styles and certified as an adjudicator. Rudy draws from all his knowledge when teaching and takes into consideration the ability and desires of his students. \n\nKaren is originally from the Georgetown/Leander area and worked in retail and corporate environments until she and Rudy purchased their dance space in Temple and opened In the Mood Ballroom in November\, 1999. \n\n7:00 pm - 8:00 pm - Salsa \n\n8:00 pm - 9:00 pm - Progressive Two-step \n\n$8.50 per person. No partners are necessary.
