Some of her awards include the 2002 John Carter Spirit of Central Texas Award\, and the Best of Show Honors at the 2005 City Federation of Women's Barclay Juried Show. In 2006\, she was the winner of a statewide competition by the Texas Commission of the Arts to have her artwork on the state's new heirloom birth certificates and commemorative wedding certificates.
