Description

Bring your family and join us for a fun-filled family event leading up to Earth Day.  The 2014 Bell County Earth Day Festival is being planned for Saturday, April 12 and will represent as many environmental products and services from the Central Texas area. Our goal is to do our part to educate the citizens of Central Texas about the family, health and environmental challenges we face today while providing access to many of the solutions available in and around our community.  The theme for this year’s event is to maintain a Healthy Family, Healthy Community, and Healthy Environment.  The Festival intends to inspire awareness and appreciation for the Earth's natural environment while presenting information and services to help our 21st century families. 
This is just a sampling of what is in store for you at the Belton Earth Day Festival:    

  • Children and Family Activities
  • Organic Gardening, plants, seeds & and compost tea along related services and activities
  • Herbs and herbal remedies
  • Aquaponics solutions, Water Collection and Rain Barrels
  • A Health & Wellness Fair featuring a wide variety of today’s solutions
  • Solar, Geothermal and Wind Energy exhibits including residential wind turbines
  • Seminars and other special environmental exhibits
  • & Much More!!!
 
The 2014 Bell County Earth Day Festival will be located at Yettie Polk Park and downtown Belton, Texas at the Courthouse Square.  Admission is FREE to the public from 9 AM until 5 PM.  This event is presented to benefit AWARE Central Texas (A Non-profit Child Abuse Prevention Organization).
