The Bell County Museum has scheduled a Christmas ornament workshop for Saturday, December 19, 2009, from 2 until 4 p.m. Visitors will be able to make their own Christmas ornaments which include bell ornaments, a lace angel, bell candy canes, and a cowboy boot ornament.
"This is a very fun event we hold each year, with a different craft activity," said Museum Director Stephanie Turnham. "It is a wonderful time to share with family and friends, and the theme of this year's bell crafts makes perfect sense for us!"
The ornament workshop is free, hot cider will be served, and to complement the museum's exhibit, Meet the Fergusons: Two Governors for the Price of One, Miriam Ferguson's "absolute favorite Christmas cookies" will be served. The event is a great opportunity to create a lifetime family memory.
