Description

The Body of Christ Community Clinic (BOCCC) will hold a special community event at Yettie Polk Park in Belton on August 8th from Noon to 8:00 PM. The event, dubbed “Counting Our Blessings, A Community Celebration for the Body of Christ Community Clinic,” is a celebration of the fifth anniversary of the BOCCC and an effort to thank the communities it serves for their support.

The festival is free and open to the public. Highlighting the festival will be three bands which will perform. The bands, scheduled to appear, are Pride & Joy, Tercia and Fireside.

An estimated 20 to 30 vendors will be on hand to offer different products. The BOCCC will sell hot dogs, chips and water as a fundraiser. There will also be other food vendors present.

A special “Kid’s Zone” will be set up. The BOCCC is sponsored by 14 area churches of various denominations from Temple, Belton and Salado. The different supporting churches will set up various events for kids from Noon to 6:00 PM.
