Railroad and Heritage Museum invites you to come ?Discover the World of Weather? in our lobby during the Museum?s weather-themed Family Fun Day. Bring the entire family starting at 10 am to ask NBC 6 Chief Meteorologist, Andy Andersen your weather questions. See operating weather equipment, courtesy of 3D Weather Squadron at Ft. Hood, TX. Try the 9-1-1 dispatcher simulator as part of the 9-1-1 display for those who want to try their hand at emergency dispatching. Materials from the Red Cross, National Weather Service, and Oncor Electric will also be available. All free lobby activities will end at 1 pm. Other events to be offered during the day will include handcar rides (weather permitting) from 11 am- 2 pm.
