Family Fun Day

The Railroad and Heritage Museum invites you to come "Explore Nature" in the upstairs Museum during the nature-themed Family Fun Day. Bring the entire family starting at 10 am to see an aquatic life exhibit with fish and turtles. Children and adults will also be treated to a large insect display. All exhibits will be accompanied by staff from the Blackland Research Center in Temple. Fun activities and crafts will also be available for the children. All free special activities in the upstairs museum will end at 2 pm. The upstairs museum will be open between 10 am and 4 pm. Other events to be offered during the day will include handcar rides (weather permitting) from 11 am- 3 pm.
