H-E-B Temple Blood Drive

H-E-B in Temple is hosting a community blood drive with Carter BloodCare, the sole provider of blood to Olin E. Teague Veterans Hospital in Temple and Metroplex Health System in Killeen, on Monday, February 16, 2009 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The blood drive will be held at H-E-B grocery store, 3002 S. 31st Street, on the Carter BloodCare bus. For more information or to schedule an appointment, contact Brandie Ellis at 254-778-4820. Potential donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 110 pounds and be in good general health. A photo ID is required. Most medications do not effect donor eligibility, even those with well-managed diabetes can be donors.
