Rare Dog Live at The Gin

Rare Dog has been together since 2003 and has 2 albums out. Texas Backroads, released in 2007 and Sumpn' Good released in 2010. They play a wide variety of music ranging from rock to blues to country and points beyond. Charlie Cagle plays guitar and sings and has a very notable SRV/Santana style. Billy Peak plays bass and sings and he, along with Dan Reilly, the band's drummer, provide a constant tight bottom for the various styles the band offers. Gus Jimenez, the band's keyboard player also sings and brings a special energy to many songs. It's this versatility that sets Rare Dog apart from almost everyone.
