Description

Join guests and visitors at the steps of the Jailhouse (210 N. Pearl Street, Belton) to commemorate the Battle of San Jacinto.  Enjoy a light buffet style, finger food style menu (BBQ beef, biscuits, corn bread, cobbler, coffee, tea and lemonade) inside the Jailhouse.

Three rose bushes will be planted in honor of three major battles in Texas history:

A white rose bush to signify the Battle of the Alamo
A red rose bush to signify the Battle at Goliad
A yellow rose bush to signify the Battle of San Jacinto

After the meal, the procession will transfer to the South Belton Cemetery where three rose wreaths will be laid in honor of those that have passed.
